How to report content and profiles safely

What you can report

You can report fake profiles, stolen or misused images, a suspected minor, coercion or trafficking, material false information and allegedly unlawful offers. A report can also concern one specific passage or image.

Suspected child sexual offences can be reported without providing a name or email address. In immediate danger, please also contact the appropriate emergency or law-enforcement service without delay.

What helps us review a report

Where possible, provide the profile link, exact location, reason and a factual description. Submit evidence only when you hold it lawfully and it is genuinely necessary for review.

• Describe observable facts and identify assumptions as such.
• Do not share unnecessary data about uninvolved people.
• Mark immediate danger clearly.

What happens after submission

The contact point receives your report. Whether you receive a confirmation depends on the contact method used. After personal review, affected content may be hidden as a precaution. We do not state a voluntary response time; binding statutory deadlines remain unaffected.

We review the specific content reported. A report alone is neither treated as proof of a violation nor allowed to hide content automatically.

Confidentiality and appeals

Your identity is not disclosed unnecessarily to the reported provider and does not appear in her copy of personal data. Only the responsible team can access your details.

If a decision affects the provider, she receives an understandable explanation and an opportunity to appeal. Any legally required action is explained and recorded.
